    Ernie's Carburetors Inc is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.

  • How long have you been in the carburetor rebuilding business?

    Our family-owned business has been doing it for nearly 40 years now.

  • How can I have my own carburetor rebuilt?

    Box it up and mail it to our address below. Include your name and phone number and we will call you.

  • How do you bench test your carburetors?

    We have a tester engine that allows us to adjust and preset any carburetor we sell.

  • I want to buy one of your carburetors but don't have the core. What should I do?

    We are happy to sell you one of our carburetors for an additional small core fee (fees vary).

  • Is there anywhere you don't ship to?

    Currently, we are only shipping to the lower 48 states, but we plan to increase our shipping areas soon.

  • If I send you my carburetor to be rebuilt, how long will it usually take?

    In most cases, our turnaround time is one day. Special items or harder-to-find carburetors might take a bit longer.

  • Can I buy a kit or parts that you don't offer on your website?

    Yes, if you know the exact kit or parts. We can communicate via text or phone and see what we can do for you.

  • I'm not sure what kind of carburetor I need for my engine, as it was lost or stolen. Can you help?

    Yes, send us the car information or give us a call. Show us the manifold you have and we should be able to find you the correct carburetor.

  • I need a carburetor that is not shown on your website. Can you find it and sell it to me?

    Yes, our in-stock carbs are on our website but in many cases, we can build you one as well. Contact us for more information.

  • Are your carburetors guaranteed to pass the smog test?

    No, our carburetors are not guaranteed to pass the smog test, as there are many factors that go into each individual test.
